You would never expect to find this incredibly chic hotel behind the concrete façade of what used to be a Japanese Army headquarters building from the 1930s. Shanghai’s Waterhouse at South Bund is a fierce boutique hotel located by the new Cool Docks development on the South Bund District. Neri & Hu Design based its entire design concept on “a blurring or an inversion of internal & external spaces, creating a disorienting yet refreshing spatial experience for guests in search of something out of the ordinary” — winning them an ‘Emerging Architecture Award’ by the Royal Institute of British Architects.

An interactive cup that makes drinking sake even more heavenly.

Designed specifically for the opaque liquids of unfiltered sake or Korean rice wine, these new Moon Bowls put a cleverly beautiful spin on sipping your beverage.

The cups are designed with a small crescent-shaped shelf inside. Filling the glass starts you off with a full moon but—providing you sip and don’t chug the milky potable—the liquid contents wane down to a crescent sliver.

It’s finally here! The Goodmorning & Goodnight shirt!

It’s 3-color premium ink on American Apparel’s TR401 Tri-blend Tri-coffee colored shirts.

Most printed t-shirts are heavy, beefy, and bulky. American Apparel shirts (what these are printed on) are very soft, and these Tri-blend tees feel amazing.

I decided not to just go with the boring ‘ol “logo in the middle” shirt and hopefully made it something that more people would want to wear.

Only 50 shirts for the first run!

Also, I’ve lowered the prices on everything else in the shop, and it’ll only cost you an extra 50cents in shipping to add something to your shirt order :D

Happy new year everyone and thanks for the totally amazing year. Goodmorning & Goodnight exploded in growth thanks to you guys from a trickle of visitors a month to deliciously large multiples of that. Thanks to you, Goodmorning got:

8.5 million visitors in 2010

and I even had to upgrade my servers.

I’m looking forward to whatever this year brings, launching the shirts (in a few days tops, I promise!), and posting the best that I can find!
