When i first saw the post titled “romantic star projector” over at Design Crush, i thought it sounded ridiculous. Then i couldn’t seem to stop staring at the pics. And there is something overwhelmingly awesome about the abundance of lights all around the room… and i can’t help wondering what it would look like if i turned off all the lights in my office, dimmed the monitors… and turned one on! You build it yourself ~ but can purchase the set up ~ and can even arrange it to mimic the night sky outside ~ or pick another spot on the globe… or another time. Take a peek at the pics and the set up on the next page.

Mouthpiece is a series of photographs by photographer Justin Quinell in which he documents some of his life’s experiences as seen by his mouth. The photographs were captured using a custom pinhole camera created from a 110 film cartridge. It’s a unique perspective of the world that we don’t often see in photographs.

Don’t smile, don’t say ‘Say Cheese’ and definitely don’t strike a pose! All these are a taboo when you are using the Sling Shot Camera, a real fun concept that aims to capture the real you…. when you are digging your nose, sticking your tongue out and scratching your butt! What ever happened to lighter side of life; thankfully this camera will bring back the spunk to natural photography! And as you guessed it works like a slingshot; yippee what fun!

These amazing images were taken by travel photographer Anton Jankovoy. His shots of the night sky above the Himalayas are simply jaw-dropping. If astrophotography is your thing you owe it to yourself to check out his site.

Just a few years ago this 18th-century farmhouse in the quiet north-east of the island lay in ruins. We wanted to revive this old country house, so the owner, a majorcan architect and designer, converted it into a rustic hotel and spa.”. It’s simply a mixture of the old and the modern. It is comfortable, simple, austere and elegant. All rooms are ‘junior suites’ with terraces. In the restaurant they serve dinner with a menu based around products grown from their own organic garden. The hotel itself consists of 3 buildings: the main house, an adjoining house with junior suites and the spa as well as 2 outdoor and 1 indoor swimming pools. And all of this is surrounded by our garden with lots of olive, almond and palm trees.
