Hi Basheer, I just wanted to let you know that the video Whispers of Shaitan really affected me. As a victim of rape myself, I know how important it is to get the word out that it can affect anyone, anywhere, for any type of reason. Thank you for posting this and forcing people to look more closely at the film to understand it’s meaning.
You need to see this! I guess this is not a real movie though, I read somewhere that it was made as a spoof of other people’s dark versions of other comic books. Apparently this trailer was made with a $3500 budget and volunteers from the film industry recuited off of craigslist. Holy man, this is not the Archie you grew up with.
I always notice that you include a lot of Parisian photography and tidbits on here…i just returned from living there for 6 months, and i have some fun photos, is it possible to send some to you? :)

For music, I highly suggest any song from Kings of Leon’s new album: Come Around Sundown. I love KOL and they’re my absolute favorite band but this album is one of the best they’ve ever had. I hope you enjoy :)

Yesu Wayinyanza by the Muungano National Choir Kenya, from the album Missa Luba. This is a very out there song so I’m not sure if you will like it or not, but I love it and the rest of the album. I listen to it when I’m writing. Sorry but you will have to get it on Itunes to listen to it since its not on the internet. :-(
