  2. I StumbledUpon your website last night and was hooked on reading the quotes you shared. I ended up reading all of them! Anyway, I finished watching the movie A Beautiful Mind and thought I would share this quote with you!

“I have always believed in numbers, in the equations and logics that lead to reason. And after a lifetime of such pursuits, I ask: What truly is logic? Who decides reason? My quest has taken through the physical, the metaphysical, the delusional, and back. And I have made the most important discovery of my career, the most important discovery of my life. It is only in the mysterious equations of love that any logical reasons can be found. I am only here tonight because of you. You are the reason I am. You are all my reasons.” -A Beautiful Mind

  3. Thank you, for occupying me during my business finance class, my criminal justice and spanish.

  4. I am forever in love with your site. The quotes, the music, the videos. Simply amazing. Really. I get so excited when I find out someone else knows about it, and when they have no idea as to what i’m talking about I spread the love and show them what they’re missing out on. You’ve got a great thing going on

  5. O also, here is a song a heard a few days ago that I absolutely love, really gets me movin’.

  6. Hi Basheer! Like many many other people, I absolutely love your site. I view it everyday, so much so that it is one of my most visited sites. I admit, I am sad when I come on your blog the next day and there isn’t any new posts, but then the following day you post a ton, so it makes up for it. I always find something new and interesting, it really brightens my day, so Thank You!

  7. Hi! I just wanted to say I am in love with your site, and I just promoted it on my blog http://thinkingaprettylittlethought.blogspot.com/. This site partly inspired me to start blogging and I am loving every minute of it. So thanks!

  8. Hi Basheer, I just wanted to let you know that the video Whispers of Shaitan really affected me. As a victim of rape myself, I know how important it is to get the word out that it can affect anyone, anywhere, for any type of reason. Thank you for posting this and forcing people to look more closely at the film to understand it’s meaning.

You need to see this! I guess this is not a real movie though, I read somewhere that it was made as a spoof of other people’s dark versions of other comic books. Apparently this trailer was made with a $3500 budget and volunteers from the film industry recuited off of craigslist. Holy man, this is not the Archie you grew up with.

I wish it was goign to be a real movie though…

  13. There is space now, in my bed. The lovely heavy drifted up and folded like origami. You don’t lay on my covers, you don’t sweat on the pillows. You just don’t do anything anymore. and I am glad.

  14. “I can’t help but wonder if there’s some moon inside me, spinning and shifting without my consent, making here over there and over there here, and I’m afraid I’ll end up rolling out, beyond the lifeguard stand, up and over the dunes and into the parking lot, sprawling into the roads, unearthing houses and lampposts, drowning children I’ve knocked from their bikes. I stare at the farthest reaches of the tallest trees, jutting up like the tips of an explosion, and I imagine touching them but it feels all wrong, like fingering the corners of my heart–somewhere that shouldn’t be touchable, a place that shouldn’t be reached. And wherever that is, I know that’s where I am.” – Everything I’m Cracked Up To Be

  15. New song by the Fleet Foxes! It’s called Helplessness Blues, it’s really great.

  16. I love reading this blog, I check it everyday to see if there are any new quotes.

For music, I highly suggest any song from Kings of Leon’s new album: Come Around Sundown. I love KOL and they’re my absolute favorite band but this album is one of the best they’ve ever had. I hope you enjoy :)

  19. Yesu Wayinyanza by the Muungano National Choir Kenya, from the album Missa Luba. This is a very out there song so I’m not sure if you will like it or not, but I love it and the rest of the album. I listen to it when I’m writing. Sorry but you will have to get it on Itunes to listen to it since its not on the internet. :-(
