For me, this song requires a more than adequate speaker system and the ability of recollection.
This song takes what is yours: your memories (only the fondest), your reverie’s (only the most pure), and your most treasures instances of life, the ones that built who you are, and display them to you as if it were the last time you were ever going to remember them.. <3

Surely Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros should make an appearance somewhere on this blog? I could listen to them on repeat for ever and ever. They have such amazing energy and beautiful songs. Fantastic to see live as well.
If you think being dysfuncted and damaged, strapped to your baggage, dirty, ruined and hurt like critical, cynical, scathing, if you’re lost or have come up missing, scarred and scared (or pretending you aren’t), when you think that’s all you’ve got, it’s not. The sadness you wear around like a trophy is intriguing at most, but it’s miserable, and about as original as a frat boy with a visor cap. So step up.

“Make a radical change in your lifestyle and begin to boldly do things which you may previously never have thought of doing, or been too hesitant to attempt. So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservation, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. If you want to get more out of life, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter style of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its full meaning and its incredible beauty.”

It is not as simply as Carl Sagan said ‘We are star stuff’ but there is a more poetic and i think more accurate way to say it: it is quite literally true that we are stardust, in the highest exalted way one can use that phrase. -Neil deGrasse Tyson

Nobody believes in you, except for a few people. You tune the others out. You numb yourself, if you’re smart.
This guy never disappoints. A clean acoustic sound with some middle eastern influence. http://www.zachwintersmusic.com/
How old do you have to be before you can be called an adult?

It’s a beautifully peaceful song by a totally underrated singer in my opinion. She sort of uses her vocals as the background percussion. Enjoy!
